Stamford is situated just to the east of the A1, approximately 90 miles north of London.

Leave the A1 on junction X and take the B1081 into town (map 1)

Good parking is available by turning right at the first traffic lights, by the George Hotel, where there are a few 2 hour free parking spaces at the side of the hotel and ample pay and display parking spaces straight ahead. Alternatively, continue up the hill bearing left into St. Mary`s Street and take the first left turn, then left again to Bath Row car park. To the right are 2 hour free parking spaces and to the left are pay and display spaces.
